As a Disability Support Worker, your role will involve:
- providing support to clients in their homes
- follow procedures including the collation of data and record maintenance.
- regularly review plans ensuring transparency of client circumstances, needs and supports.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Aiding and support to improve daily living skills.
- Assisting with daily domestic tasks.
- Assisting with meal preparation.
- Providing support to develop independence skills.
- Assisting with accessing community for appointments, outings and leisure activities.
- Assisting to build capacity with transportation, personal care and social interactions.
Requirements include:
- Current First Aid & CPR
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Working with Children check Card (or ability to obtain)
- Australian Federal Police Check (completed within the last 12 months)
- Current valid driver's license
- Own Car with Comprehensive Insurance
- Ability to work within a team with a positive attitude.
- Desirable:
- Min. Certificate III in Individual Support (working towards, or an interest in obtaining)
