The Opportunity:
The Mercury Dispatch Team is dedicated to ensuring that electricity & gas faults affecting our customers are resolved quickly and efficiently, so that the lights stay on and our customers experience during these times is positive and well managed. This is a great role for someone wanting to start their career with Mercury.
- Keep track of planned network outages
- Provide timely planned outage information to customers
- Provide broader administrative support to the wider team
- Deliver reporting on our planned outage activities and notifications
- Actively look for process improvement opportunities
This is a permanent position, based in our Tauranga office.
Whilst some aspects of the role can be undertaken through remote working, key elements require that the successful applicant be able to work in our Tauranga office for a portion of each week day.
Skills & Experience
We're looking for someone with strong customer service skills and an excellent work ethic who is equally comfortable working autonomously or as part of a team. To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Sound administration experience and attention to detail
- Good judgement and problem-solving abilities
- Customer service experience
- A positive attitude
- Experience working in the energy sector would be an advantage, but not essential
