For almost 40 years, Wind River has been the leading provider of embedded operating systems to the world's leading critical infrastructure and autonomous systems developers. Wind River's expertise is now being leveraged at the far edge to power Tier 1 CSP's such as Verizon, Vodafone, and others to accelerate 5G Open RAN. Wind River Studio Operator is designed for the far edge and provides performance and TCO that meets or exceeds monolithic TEM platforms. Studio Operator is at the heart of a robust ecosystem of solution partners such as Samsung, Mavenir, Ericsson, JMA Wireless, Dell, and HPE in a verified reference architecture simplifying deployment by CSPs to power their 5G networks.

Due to the success of our Partnership with Samsung Networks we’re expanding the team. Your opportunity is to join as a key member of our Telco Ecosystem Partner team. In addition, you will be responsible for the management and enablement of Telco Channel Partners in the Wind River Partner Ecosystem with a primary focus on Samsung Networks. This is a high-impact role where you will report directly to the VP, Global Telco Ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Actively manage a sales strategy with a jointly developed business plan for assigned Partner account(s) with a primary focus on Samsung Networks

  • Enable Partner sales and technical teams to align with GTM plan and partner program requirements and clearly defined outcomes and metrics.
  • Track partner performance-to-plan and identify action plans to address enablement, engagement, pipeline and bookings gaps.
  • Deliver company Telco strategy/vision to Partner sales and technical teams in a compelling fashion to drive pipeline and bookings gaps.
  • Develop selling and services opportunities with and within Partner organizations; penetrate new divisions and organizations within assigned partner accounts.
  • Develop co-innovation initiatives and solutions that create differentiation for our partners and value for customers.
  • Coordinate marketing activities; leverage Wind River marketing resources to determine prioritization, execution, and ROI.
  • Develop and manage executive engagement between Partner and Wind River (e.g., sales, services) via Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Support Partner pipeline forecast and support conversion in coordination with sales teams, utilizing Salesforce.

ABOUT YOU

  • 10+ years of demonstrable channel management experience in cloud, software, and telco ecosystems
  • Possess the strongest of sales skills and the highest level of technical and business acumen.
  • Demonstrate current understanding of the Telco 5G market.
  • Extensive breadth and depth of knowledge arrived through exposure to complex business situations.
  • Can effectively interface at many levels with top executives and company management.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to take account and territory ownership.
  • Collaboration with Direct Wind River sellers and partners.
  • Good analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, written skills.
  • Language Skills – advanced Korean and English language skills required.
  • Strong competence with Salesforce, various sales tools, procedures, and sales skills to accomplish goals.


Education

BA, BS, or BSCE, MBA preferred.
